For everyone who has stood on the Dom Luís I Bridge and watched the sun go down over Porto. Here it is in fine engraved line: the great iron arch over the Douro, the rabelo boats resting below, and a small fir tree lit up on the lead boat for the season. A gift for the friend who came home talking about Porto, the family with Portuguese roots, and anyone with a picture of this exact view on their phone.

The bridge opened on October 31, 1886. It was designed by Théophile Seyrig, a former partner of Gustave Eiffel, whose own Maria Pia railway bridge stands just upriver. A single iron arch carries two decks: the upper one, high on top of the arch, now carries the Porto Metro and people on foot, while the lower deck runs along the water between the Ribeira on the Porto side and Vila Nova de Gaia across the river.

The rabelo boats are the other half of the picture. For generations these flat-bottomed boats, steered by a long oar off the stern, brought barrels of new wine down the Douro from the vineyards upriver to the port lodges in Gaia. Today they ride at anchor beneath the bridge, still loaded with barrels, the oldest working shape on the river.

The drawing is our own, in black and white in the manner of an old engraving, with the little tree's green and gold lights as the only color. It is set in a three-inch faceted crystal round, white-backed so the lines stay crisp against a lit tree or a window, and comes in a white or gold gift box.

For Porto lovers, Portuguese families and anyone who has walked across the top deck at dusk. Profits support hunger relief.
