For every Header who has stood on the town landing waiting for Santa's boat. Here he is, coming into Marblehead Harbor on a white lobster boat trimmed in garland and red bows, waving from the cockpit with the traps stacked behind him and Marblehead Light standing tall on the Neck. A gift for families who never miss the Christmas Walk, for sailors and lobstermen, and for anyone who has ever called this harbor home.

Marblehead's Christmas Walk fills the first weekend of December with carols, shop windows and the whole town out on the narrow streets of Old Town, and Santa traditionally arrives the way a Marblehead visitor should: by boat.

The tower on the point is Marblehead Light at Chandler Hovey Park, an open iron skeleton first lit in 1895 and unlike any other lighthouse in New England. Across the harbor are Fort Sewall and the steeples of Old Town, and the town that sent Glover's Regiment of fishermen to row Washington's army across the Delaware still calls itself the birthplace of the American Navy.

The drawing is our own, in fine black line like an old engraving, with Santa's suit, the stripe on the hull, the buoys and the bows as the only color. It is set in a three-inch faceted crystal round, printed on a white backing so the lines stay crisp against a lit tree or a harbor-view window.

For Marblehead families, North Shore sailors and coastal holiday trees everywhere. Every ornament comes in a white or gold gift box. Profits support hunger relief.
