The Golden Retriever. Sunglasses on, paws crossed, spritz within reach. This is our pen-and-ink golden retriever on a striped deck chair under a striped umbrella, somewhere between Antibes and Menton, with absolutely nowhere to be.
The golden retriever was made in Scotland, not on the Riviera. In 1868 Dudley Marjoribanks, later Lord Tweedmouth, bred a yellow wavy-coated retriever named Nous to a Tweed water spaniel named Belle at his Guisachan estate in the Highlands, and kept the yellow puppies. The Kennel Club recognized the breed in 1913, the American Kennel Club in 1925, and it has sat near the top of the popularity lists ever since - the dog that greets burglars, retrieves things nobody threw, and considers every stranger a friend it hasn't met.
That temperament is the joke and the point. Put a golden on a Mediterranean beach and he does exactly what he does at home: finds the most comfortable spot, makes himself the center of it, and waits for you to notice. How do I care for my item?
For apparel: wash cold, inside-out, with like colors; avoid bleach and high heat; tumble dry low or hang dry. For embroidery, iron inside-out to protect the stitching. How are items made and when will they arrive?
We make each item on demand using premium blanks, embroidery, and soft-hand prints. Production usually takes 2–5 business days (excluding weekends and holidays). You’ll receive tracking once shipped. We currently ship to U.S. addresses via USPS, UPS, or FedEx. Most orders arrive within 6-12 business days.
What’s the return/exchange policy?
